    Default we're getting new windows!

At last! It's been a desire of ours for the past 10 years since we moved into this house. Finally, after getting out of debt, paying off the last loan, and getting our finances in order we saved up enough to pay for it.

I wrote a check for the 50% deposit today. It was great to just write it out and know that it was not going to be a strain on our budget or a stress in our life to pay for. And in 5 or 6 weeks we should be getting them installed.

We went with Window World, which had the best price on what we wanted.(double pane, double hung, tax incentive) From what I could see there were no major differences in the various companies we looked at, and one of DH's co-workers recommended them.

I loooove our new windows. It has this film on the glass that keeps out the glare and they're so easy to care for. You can't open them without this special handle and they open on one side, come with a nice screen and were pretty easy to install.

    Enjoy!

I hope you will get it done before festive season. Curtains of the windows also play an important role in the appearance of the house.
