I love the crisp, classic feel that white trim gives a room. Our den has wood trim and it's gonna go white as soon as I get the paneling out and some drywall in.
My best advice for painting walls is to spend the extra money on Frog Tape instead of the blue 3M tape. It really prevents bleed-through and saves a lot of time you'd normally spend on touch-ups. I buy mine at Sherwin Williams.
