    Default Spent the Morning Shredding!

    Ahhh...

I spent the morning shredding old files. It was time, and so we kept only a years worth of all bills and statements. I'd have rather only saved 3 months worth, but dh isn't comfortable with that. Considering we had some files that went back to 2006, I figured it was a good compromise!

Also, we then updated all of the files and I finally got dh to clean off his desk. My desk is usually clean, but it did have some paper clutter that is now clean.

The reason for the push is because we finally sold the kids computer desk in the playroom because we are making it into ds2's bedroom, and bringing their computer down to our office to sit on my desk. Then, we're dissembling the crib and moving his new bed into the playroom and setting up ds1's new bed. I'm thrilled to finally get all of this underway.

We aren't due to my father-in-law's until 2 pm, so we had some time to get it done. Yeah!

Tomorrow, cleaning out the rest of the playroom.

Wow! I wouldn't dare shred anything less than 7 years old. You never know when something will be needed. We just had to prove DH's employment for 2006 and I am so glad we had that paperwork. Still, it must feel good to clear out the space!

I'm shredding everything, but I'm scanning it all first. Much more time consuming.

We know some people that got audited fairly recent. They said IRS wanted from 10 years back. This was second set of people that told us that.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.
