Love the jewelry box, Palooka. DH came home from the Kosovo deployment with some awesome hand-carved jewelry boxes. They have hidden compartments and secret panels in them.

It seems like it would be easy to make that PARIS sign -- the one with the black background and the postcard dotting the "I"? Print some big block letters off Word to use as a template (I would use the "hollow letter" option in Word Art to save ink -- the one that just outlines the letter), trace onto your paper, cut out, and decoupage to a plaque you've painted a solid color. You could even personalize it with different colors, France-themed scrapbook paper, or even a cool map of Paris you've cut up. And you could hang it with a ribbon!
