Default April 15 - How will you honour your home today?

My fancy way of saying what's on your chore list

I'm going to see if I can clean out my closet a bit. It's already organized and I don't know what more I can do in there, but I think it looks too crowded. I think if I clean out a little more I can create the illusion of endless space.

Other than that, the whole house needs to be picked up. I'm having trouble keeping up the regular maintenance with so many other projects on the go.

Our bedroom desperately needs cleaning up, and my closet needs organizing. I also need to move my baby girl's clothes into her own room, which we are in the process of setting up. Right now it is a spare/storage room.
As far as the general picking up of the house, I am making an attempt to grab something that belongs somewhere else each time I leave a room. Slowly but surely...

I do love the idea of thinking of chores as honoring/blessing your home and family!

Just the regular stuff today. It is already almost 11 and I have not done anything. After I dropped dd off at school I was going to hit a thrift store and when I got there the place was closed for business.

I really need to do my floors, which is what I like to do the LEAST.

It is nice out so I can fling my windows open and let the air flow in. It will be getting too hot here soon enough and they will be shut for months.

I folded and put away laundry. I have one load left in the dryer, it's towels.

I'm going to go out and sweep the front porch. Then run the dishwasher.

Closet is done, but the general pick up never happened, in fact the rest of the house looks worse than it did this morning!
