Well, a lot of my stuff has been due to finances, but I'm going to get these done in the next four weeks:
Replace back door outside faux brass light which is rusted and now has electrical issues (and replace two front faux brass lights which are just hideous and rusted)
Replace hideous faux brass and white (well it was white at some point) fan in my rec room
Replace back door deadbolt which hasn't worked for several years
Replace hideous faux brass dining room light fixture
Replace hideous faux brass door handles in kitchen (can anyone say 1970s???)
Replace cheapo hollow doors from the 1970s with solid wood six-panel pine doors (got a bunch of these on craigslist for super cheap)
Paint back door brown (currently white and shows every little scuff)
and just for fun...I'm putting a rooster weather vane on my house - I'm a country farm gal.
Does anyone see a pattern here - lots of 1970s faux brass stuff that is hideous... LOL All I have to do now is finishing picking out the door handles/lock and call the handyman.Goals:
Lose 25 lbs (exercise at least 3 times/wk/eat healthy)
Spend less
Save more $ in ES
Frugal challenge
Do three things daily
One new recipe a week
Prep for zombie apocalypse

Hmm. I'm so overwhelmed with stuff and being behind on routine maintenance, that I started a challege for it! Others, I'm glad to say, are doing much better with getting and keeping their routine chores up to date than I!

A drywall board needs to be replaced in the MIL apt. It leaked for an hour. Has needed repair for 1 1/2 years. I just can't stand the thought of moving everything~.
