Default What housework are we doing today?

DD is out of school, for the summer, so she has a list of chores, and I have to vacuum, dishes, laundry, and general pick up. What's on your list of chores today?

My house is really disgusting right now. I have so much to do and I know I have to clean everything again after we move our stuff out, so I've just been putting it off. Right now it's the dirtiest house I've ever lived in

I'm going to do some more laundry today while the weather holds, and maybe clean the basement after I finish packing down there. I could clean the kitchen and bathroom cupboards as well, as they are empty now.

I need to do laundry, vacumn, dust, clean the hardwoods..... basically, clean the whole house (not that it's a huge mess, I am just a nicer mommy and wife when my house is clean!)

    *DS will unload the dishwasher
    *I'll load it back up

*Then DD will unload it again
*By dinnertime I'll have enough dishes to run it again

*DS will take the trash out

*DS and DD will cut the backyard

*I'll pick up my coupon area.

Not a lot on our list for today. I shopped 'til I dropped yesterday and am feeling pretty lazy today.

I folded my mountain of laundry. Got some of it put away. Still need to wash the breakfast dishes and vacuum the downstairs.

Since cleaning out the in laws house & all that has entailed and still does we are highly motivated to dejunk and pare down big time. Yesterday found us going through our home and gathering all unused metal. Pipes, fence posts, old stop sign attached to post we found in creek years ago... all kind of things. People who owned this house last had so much pipe (we never really paid attention to) in the garage attic. Man.... we just kept tossing and tossing it out the window up there and got ourselves a nice pile. Called someone to come haul it away and they will do that tomorrow. Woohoo. It's going to be so nice not having to deal with that at a future date.
Today is rainy so I'm going to be taming the paper jungle. Out out out! Feels so good.

Clean bathroom, laundry, dinner in the crockpot, dust, dustmop floors, sweep porches, shake out rugs, maybe wash rugs.

Dd has to clean up her mess in the kitchen. I have to clean the bathroom and finish the kitchen cabinet reorganization. Going through some boxes and getting things together to donate to the vets. Have to call them for pick-up. At least one load of laundry. That is never ending. Dishwasher will be loaded, unloaded and probably run again.

I so agree with you LOL

I am hoping to do a few returns today - nothing like getting $$$ back right? And some purging of clothes. I'm going to set my goal low

I cleaned downstairs yesterday so I just have to mop down there. Today it is upstairs, dusting, bathroom, moping, vacuuming, and tidying the bedrooms. I help tidy dd bedroom once a week just because she is 7 and once a week I need to vacuum and dust it. I also have to finish laundry and put it away. I hate laundry with a passion. My inlaws are gone until Saturday so it is nice to feel like have a little bit more free space.
