Default Can I save this carpet?

I moved to my new home over the weekend and one of my friends spilled on the sisal carpet in the hallway. Instead of telling me, he just went at it with the green scubber side of a sponge. He removed the stain, but now the patch that he scrubbed is looking more worn than the area around it.

It's all I can see when I look into the hallway and I'm fuming mad. The place was perfect when I took possession

I know it's probably a longshot, but is there anything I can try to improve the texture of worn sisal?

Plan B is to get a throw rug to cover it, but I REALLY don't want a throw rug there

Sisal in the entryway will become worn over time, and then it will all look the same.

I don't think you can repair it. I agree, a throw rug on top of a rug in the entry would get annoying. Also you are probably the only one who notices it.

Nature's Miracle for now until she gets trained. Then Stanley Steemer with the deodorizer add on
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
