    You might be surprised by googling or some other search engine, their names.

    Ancestry.com might also provide more information...My mother found living relatives she didn't know existed, contacted them and they gave her pictures, letters and talked on and on about relatives she had found thru ancestry.com

    ok - so I know that I'm super nosy - but what I can't imagine is that YOU LIVED YOUR WHOLE childhood with this stuff in the basement and never looked through it?? Wow!!

    I was always snooping in boxes in the basement, in the attic, boxes in the closet, etc....

    I remember that my dad has the most boring paperwork in boxes for YEARS (it was tax documents) but I always peeked through them anyway, just in case I missed something interesting.....
