Who's Ready for Spring Cleaning?
I know most people don't consider February to be spring - but I do. Ahh, nothing says "Spring" like an 8 foot high snow bank
.
But, regardless of what mother nature is trying to tell me with her incessant barrage of frozen white stuff - it's spring, and I'm ready to clean!
Anyone else think it's time to start scrubbing off the grime of winter and get ready to welcome back the sun?
....at least it will give me something to do during tomorrow's snowstorm...

Me, me! Even if it's suppose to snow more tomorrow. When it does warm up, my deck will be the first to get cleaned. It's bugging me now. There is always cleaning out the closets.

SPRING CLEANING????
I am more than ready for the sun.... but they are saying we best be digging out our snow shovels AGAIN as we are headed back into winter here with much more white stuff!!!
While you guys were being buried...........we haven't had much snow since Xmas. And are still above average for our annual snowfall. (we got our DUMPING in November!!)

We haven't had much snow at all around here and we've even started to have a few Spring like days.
But I feel like my Spring cleaning never ends. Probably because I never actually finish it. I do one big project and then blow the rest off, then I'll do another big project a few weeks (months?) later, then pull back a bit....it's never ending!!

Well since I moved into my new apartment in November, it's still pretty clean, lol, I am still slowly going through things and boxes, just getting rid of the stuff we don't need or use anymore, I already have two huge totes ready for a garage sale this summer!! The cleaning will continue though lol!!!
I just wish we could open the windows and let some fresh air in, but since it's -40* here, I'm not going too!! My luck they would freeze when open and I couldn't shut them, haha!

Me, and as soon as I get my surgery out of the way and I'm cleared, I'm going to start on mine. I have a list already made out. I will only be working on the weekends though since DH sleeps during the day. At that rate I may be done in time for fall cleaning.

I am certainly not ready for it - but my home is - I'm in!!

Surprisingly, the house isn't all that hard to do Spring Cleaning in.
I clean every day here and with us only being in it for the last month, I'm not sure if it's entirely needed.
But I am ready!

Definately ready for the whole spring cleaning idea. However once the time does arrive I will probably be to busy to think about it.

I belong to another message board and we have been challenging ourselves to declutter and posting about it. Its been great I think for all of us. Some have posted pictures even of befores and afters. Really keeps you on your toes and motivated. Its been enjoyable too to see what everyone is accomplishing.
My motivation is that we are building a new house in the next few months and I simply do not want to have to move all this stuff. I've been cleaning out drawers, cabinets, and decluttering taking a little at a time. Getting things in totes that I know we want to go with us, tossing junk and adding things to a moving sale pile. Any money I can make from a moving sale can go to something I really want or need for the new house.Wife of Danny for 28 years...the love of my life and my best friend..
