I bow to you my Queen. . . .you are amazing! I wish I had the stamina to do all of that. I just moved into a new place and I'm exhausted.

    ive been slowly doing this

so far i cleaned all the mess in the front yard and back yard and put stuff out for the community clean up
we have two rooms upstairs and a big closet that we have just been throwing stuff up there
so i started cleaning the front room and i cleaned out the closet, listed stuff on craigslist and threw more out for the community clean up.
went through our clothes last week..fixed a small dresser put the unmentionables in there and body sprays, used under the bed storage for alot of my clothes and made room in the stand up closet for more of hubbies...throw out old stuff

cleaned kids room donated 3 boxes of toys and clothes, threw out old huge entertainment center
replaced with my old desk kids clothes our also now contained under the bed making more room in their bedroom

replaced toliet seat. threw old one out
cleaned out laundry basket and moved from kitchen (eye sore) and moved to bathroom closet..had to clean out bathroom closet first

cleaned corner behind stove, washed side of stove, cleaned trash can..moved trash can from the wall to the corner hidden beside the stove and wall..no more eye sores

wash and folded all extra blankets/comforters stored in china cabinet

washed shower curtain..bleached tub really good and scrubbed

cleaned kitchen ceiling fan...hadnt thought to clean the light fixture but will add that to my to do list in all rooms

reorganized cleaners in cabinet, pantry items too

cleaned out 4 junk drawers and put everything away

cleaned living room ceiling and fan from dust, took down items from walls and dusted, cleaned up jacket and shoe area on steps

cleaning daily now..where before i was slacking..so i have cleaned at least twice a day now for a month

i mop every other day now istead of weekly...cant believe the difference in the mop bucket now..used to turn dirty with in a few swipes across the floor now it stays clean all the way around the house almost...(house is all wood and tile)

    cleaned under my bed

We did spring cleaning last week while the children were on Spring Break. Three sets of hand make short work of it. The only rules were no whining/complaining and if mom tells you what to do you do it.

It was so nice when I went to do my regular cleaning this week as I was able to do it quickly.

There is nothing like a freshly spring cleaned house. It feels so wonderful and makes me smile.

    Enjoy your spring cleaning

Whew! I'm tired just reading these lists. I think I'll pretend I'm a tortoise this year, slow and steady win the race.

I've been slowly spring cleaning. I have one kitchen drawer left and need to take apart and clean inside the fridge. I do this often so it's not too bad. The inside of the stove is another story.
The sliding glass door and the hardwood stairs get done this week. Closets and rooms have mostly been done. The ceiling fans is a must!

Rhiamon, that's one heck of a list!

Our first step will be reorganizing the now rehabbed laundry room. Then the project that needs to happen is the old dining table needs to be cleared off/sold(?) and the rug unfolded. When I bought the newest rug, it got put in place in the dining area folded in 1/2, it was the only way I could get it in the room. After that, we can move the new kitchen counter in place and use it by God!

My ultimate plan is to have 1 less storage unit by the end of July at latest. If I can do that, I'll be real happy. My house may still be a mess, but it will be a less expensive mess with a lot less stuff!

The windows should be washed and the walls vacuumed too... that needs to happen when I can open the windows as it helps keep the dust OUT of the house. That project will continue all spring/summer as every exterior wall here has multiple 1/8" ledges that need to be vac'ed!

I clean the bottles, etc. in my pantry and fridge as I use them. Sometime I'll look to see what's dirty, it's what we aren't using. Either I'll clean it and use it or purge it from the collection. I tend to do that year 'round though, it's not necessarily part of "spring cleaning".
