Default Where Do You Keep Your Dirty Clothes Hamper At

Ours is in our room and I'm getting tired of looking at it. Just trying to make the room more cozier. Was thinking about putting it in the bathroom, but it's small enough already. Plus not sure if I'd want company to see it. I need a nice hamper with a lid on it, I suppose. I just use a big white basket with holes in it and no lid.

Step-daughter has her own in her room and DD does her own.

Just curious because I'm always rearranging and looking for new ideas.

we have a laundry chute in the bathroom. You open a door in a cabinet and throw the clothes down the whole in the floor.

I WAS using a huge bamboo type 'barrel basket' (with a lid)...until it became storage..........now I toss my clothes down the stairs, pick them up when I go down, and sort them into piles for washing, in front of the washer.

Works better and I can instantly tell if I have a load to wash.

We have a rattan oval shaped laundry hamper with lid in our bedroom - works great for us - found it at Ross a couple of years ago.

I have a big bathroom so I have one of those three section hampers in there. That way our laundry is always sorted and you can easily see when you have a load ready to go!

I have a closet upstairs that I keep both a "whites" and a "darks" hamper in....everyone just throws the stuff in the hamper each day....I usually do at least one load of darks a day, and the white when there is enough to make a load...

I keep the dirty clothes separated in the garage in baskets. Dirty clothes go into the appropriate baskets every morning and when the basket is full, I wash. It makes it much easier to gauge what needs to be washed and all the stinky sport clothes aren't in my house!! lol

Ours is just in a rubbermade laundry basket near the door in our bedroom. My eyes are closed most of the time I'm in there so I don't mind it being there.
