Talking About To Put Crazy Post It Notes Around The House

This is for the teens of course. (would be nice if I could pull it off with dh? heh)

    Kitchen:

Your mom does work here, but not after dinner hours. So please clean up when you decide to make scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, and whatever you didn't think I would notice. Notice how spotless the kitchen was before you walked in? Good! Now fix it back.

    Bathroom:

Happy you brush your teeth, now please give it another minute and wash your spit/toothpaste down the drain! If that's too hard, you have another choice to buy me a bottle of spray Commit a month. I'll show you the directions.

    Bedrooms:

That would take a big chief tablet!!

Can someone put this in short hand for me? Thanks!

I think more and more of us are living with our children for far longer than we ever anticipated, so this is QUITE applicable! My adult daughter has a BAD habit of taking drinks back to her room and leaving the empty glasses to the point that there are DOZENS back there. My husband wanted to dump them all under her sheets so she had to crawl into bed with those and FINALLY notice that maybe she needed to take those to the dishwasher in the kitchen NOW, but I never did it. Just giggling about the response when she came in late one night was enough. Thanks for the smile.

If you make breakfast for the family, and this happens again, make sure the whole family is present the next morning and cook their breakfast in the dirty pan and serve it to em.

Watch how they never leave the pans dirty again.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

When my boys were home it was in pretty frames.
Bathroom: flush, wipe off the seat, pick the set up and put it down, rinse the sink after you spit, replace the toilet papers, put trash in the trash bag, separate dirty clothes and put in proper hanger, turn off lights.
LR: put remote back were u found it. Pick up pop cans, dirty dishes, and food. Pick up trash from fast food and throw away.
turn off lights, use colox wipes if dog has accident. Refold blankets. lock doors turn off light.
Kitchen: please wipe your plates, do not leave food out, please pick garbage up. turn off the lights
All had petty frames and set were everyone could see it. My landlord went home and done the same thing at her house.

I like this idea. Maybe I can twist the phrases to work here. (Rinse the sink after you shave! YUCK!)

I could cross stitch them and put them in pretty frames. Does that make it more friendly?

My mom has a little kitschy wooden sign in her bathroom: I aim to keep this bathroom clean. Your aim would help.

Palooka - take a wide angle pic of your kitchen and bathroom.

Now post the pics in the appropriate rooms with the captions of "Before you leave, does this area still look like this?" with an arrow pointing down to the pic.

    Examples

Pic of the sink area/counter around it - sign would go above sink on back splash.

Pic of bathroom from doorway - sign would go above toilet, by light switch on way out, back of door so its visible when its closed, on mirror - wherever you feel appropriate. Duplicates may be necessary.
