Well as a mod here I should know where to post this BUT I am not sure
hope this is right.We are moving this weekend and the house swmells really bad like cigarette smoke.My DS5 has asthma.How can I get rid of this atrocious smell?

If you have to keep the old carpets, try the arm and hammer-like the box in the fridge-sprinkle on the carpet and leave over night then vacuume- it will absorbe odor without leaving the odor that carpet deoderizer does. Also, a bowl of white vinegar left out overnight in each room will absorbe odors. See if walls are washable-if they are they probably have a film of stinky smoke on them. Good Luck!

Try using Febreeze. I have also heard of people putting fabric softener sheets around the room. HTH
