Thin Out Thursday
~Today's goal? Thin out one collection of something: t-shirts, cooking utensils, hair accessories, books, toys, etc. Try to get out at least 10 items then report back with what you purged.
You can thin out more than one collection if you want.

yay!
thank you!!!
barrettes, banana clips, and assorted spring clips... are out of my hair!!!
I have lots of hair things from my bygone days. Here is what I pulled out so far. All are usable, though perhaps a little faded over time. LOL
I also have a Bowrette that I never used. You take fabric or scarves and weave it through the assorted combs and clips to custom make your own when ever you wear it. My Mom gave it to me AFTER the big bow craze of Little House on the Prairie Days.
Still waiting for me are the drawers of scrunchies, cages and assorted RenFest items to sort through. But those I'll most likely keep.
I'm wondering if the local family resource center will take used hair items? Do other donation sites???The Free Spirit Saver who walks the path with Greebo.

Put the frog in pot, turn up the heat real slow, and the frog doesn't hop out. And by the time he realizes, he should , it's too late... think about it.

~Ha, that red bow is a classic! I used to have some like that, in 1986!

Ok , I sorted hair stuff too and tossed 6 hairbands. That wasn't 10 so I added a lip gloss, a coat, a tin and a book to get to ten.
Then I sorted a bit on my entry bookshelf. I weeded out 3 binders, 2 stretch covers, 4 folders and a phone book.
Then I pulled 10 sewing patterns to donate.
Whew!
I need to keep going. Where to next?~~Constance

Threw out a really ugly sweater and some tops. Guess that is good since I just bought at the thrift store two shirts and one jacket.

Baby and kid shoes that have been collecting for the last six years. Got most of them used anyway. Finding LOTS of mates of shoes and tossing two grocery bags full of them. Sending them to a thrift/Goodwill type store. Minimum 15 pairs tossed.

I actually did this challenge Thursday, but forgot to post results!
I hit the clothes closets. I'm going from two full sized closets to a house with one TINY closet in my bedroom. So, I got two huge garbage bags full of clothes to take to Goodwill, including some jeans with the tags still on them (I hate jeans) and a lot of nice work skirts that I just don't or can't wear anymore.
