How often do you clean your refrigerator?

i clean mine often. Each time i shop and unpack food bags i clean the shelves.

well, i do spot cleaning pretty often, but really deep cleaning the whole thing, pulling everything out, lifting shelves etc...about 2-3 times a year I think.

My household chore list has me down for cleaning it once a week, but I clean it about once a month. I need to clean it today, actually.

Not often enough. Usually when we are at science experiment status. It is my most hated chore....

I go through it and pitch anything that needs pitching and wipe it out once a week just before we load in the new weeks groceries. I pull everything out to sanitize it maybe once a month. Since telling myself I can't put new groceries in til it's clean it has stayed cleaner and more organized than ever.

everyweek ... we go shopping and as I put the food away I toss out old food and wipe it down a little.

Once a week here too and also as I'm unloading groceries. I only do a full take apart and scrub if something spills. Wiping it down weekly keeps it clean enough.

It only takes a second to take the drawers out and wipe under them. My shelves are glass so I just spritz them with bleach water and wipe down. I don't miss the metal racks. Those get so dirty.

When ever dh decides to do it! He usually pulls everything out and cleans it good every 6 to 8 weeks. I keep it wiped out pretty good in between.

Geez, you guys are alot more diligent than I am! I think last time I pulled everything out and scrubbed was about a year ago

But I will wipe messes up immediately, and I keep any foods that I know will drip (like a turkey defrosting) on a plate- and things like onions I keep in the grocery bag so the skin isn't all over the place. Any leftovers older than a week gets tossed regularly. So my fridge stays pretty clean even without the major cleanouts.
