    Default It's Happened

My house has taken over this week. I can feel it. It is a living, breathing entity that refuses to stay clean and orderly. For some reason, (and yes, I realize it is only Tuesday), this has been an incredibly busy week and I can not believe the way my house looks. Because of an emergency eye doctor appointment today, I had to switch my afterschool help to tomorrow which is the afternoon I was going to clean becuase every other afternoon is booked! I must conquer the house! I will prevail!

Awwww - don't I know how that feels!

I'll tell you what I'm ALWAYS annoying everybody else with (but fail to remember myself! )

    This too shall pass.

Possibly not until the kids leave home But it WILL pass.

I'll think of you next time I break my ankle on a stray toy!

I have faith you'll come through. I hope the eye thing is OK too.

I will be thinking about you, I hope all is well with your eye, the house is less likely to collapse when full, so don't worry about it !!!
Just relax and take care !

I've never heard of a dust bunny running away from home, it will be there waiting there for you when you get ready for it.

I once read about a gal who was haunted by a ghost that cleaned her house. I kept wishing that ghost would come and haunt my house. Darn it...Never moved over here! Don't sweat the house sweetie. I came to the conclusion years ago that a house is never really caught up. Even since our children have grown up and moved out, the house gets away from me at times. Just take a deep breath and do what you can.

oh my goodness my house is the same way right now amy, it's horrible...i barely have time to sqeeuze in a couple loads of laundry and some dishes in between the other things that need to be done...then things like today ...dh told me we were taking ayla to see her grandparents for a couple days..and it was a whirld wind of him going to the dentist, doing target clearance shopping, packing her bags and driving there and back...my sink is about to overflow, there is food on the stove BURNERS i need to clean off...I can't step in my room without stepping on SOMETHING it's horrrrible

If it weren't for the house cleaning challenges my closet and other area's would be a total dissaray also...for some reason those challenges get me going, i think because it has the word challenge in it and then I really HAVE to do it too bad it doesn't work if I make up my own challenge

Amy, I believe the same evil mess monster that lives in your house is now living in mine. It is a total disaster and now I will have to spend all day tomorrow - Saturday - cleaning it while dd has a friend over to play. I really wish that play date was some other time but it has been scheduled for a while. The whole house is covered in dog and cat hair, dirty clothes and general junk, especially toys. I will be using a big trash bag as I clean and I expect some items will just disappear!!!! Hang in there I know how frustrated you feel but you/we will overcome this battle just in time for retirement. Go pour yourself a nice cup of soda/tea and relax for at least 5 minutes.
