    Unhappy another pest problem

As you know...I have a nasty rodent in my kitchen. So the owner of the house just brought by a plug in type device that is supposed to scare pests away. Has anyone ever used one of these before and do they work with rats and mice? Sorry to bug you ladies about this today - usually things are this big of a deal to me but this is huge!!

Yes Daphne we have used them. They work to a certain extent. We used them for ladybugs (we had thousands!). I don't know how they would work for something larger though.

I wish I had some comforting words for you Daphne. Having a rat is nasty business. I had one a couple of years ago, I set a huge trap set with a walnut, just the meat (my dad swore by that), The rat never went in the trap, but he may have eaten the poison and died and I did not know it. I have used d con for mice. They ate it and ran in circles, like they were crazy, then I would smell a dead one for a day or two, I never was able to find the dead animal. The DCON makes them dry up and get paper thin I have heard, I hope he eats your bait. Sending you sympathy waves))))))))))))))))))))))))))))), a few more for good measure!)))))))

We got three of those sonic type things that you plug into the wall sockets. We got them when we had mousie problems. They were even supposed to scare spiders away. I really hate spiders. Didn't seem to work for either one of those beasties.

I have one I keep plugged in. I have only seen a mouse maybe twice in 3 years. I don't know how well they work because I still see spiders all the time. DS#3 is deathly afraid of spiders and he saw one last night and almost died from fright.

I also lay out dcon mice bait. I just hate those little critters and put everything out as precautionary measures...lol!

I hope your mouse leaves you soon.

Dh uses them in his barn. He "thinks" they are working. I dunno. Anyway, anything is worth a try esp. if you didn't have to buy it.
