put a papertowel over the wax spot and use a warm iron to get it up. it will warm the wax enough to melt it and absorbe into the paper towel.

One of my friends got red candle wax all over her white carpet. She used two methods a neighbor shared with her and both worked equally well (got every bit of the wax out). Place 1.) a white slip (like a slip you wear under a dress) over the wax OR 2.) a brown paper grocery bag over the wax and iron over the spot on low heat. The wax will adhere to the slip or paper bag.

I usually use the iron, Deb, I would try ice then picking the frozen pieces off.

I tried the brown paper bag and iron for getting hot glue out of clothing. It worked pretty good. I got the tip here and it was originally for removing wax.

When I got purple candle wax on the cream colored carpet in my last apartment- I used the steamer on my iron to melt the wax enough so I could peel it off with my fingers.
