    Default Time to Organize

Use small blocks of time to accomplish tasks rather than waiting for large amounts of uninterrupted time to take care of things. Consider what can be accomplished in ten minutes. You can organize a drawer, clean out your wallet, write a note, or read a story to your child. In five minutes, you can make a few phone calls, sort your mail, or empty the dishwasher. In one minute, you can review your to-do list, make your bed, or stop and smell the roses.

Today I have to organize my yarn supply i had a bunch in a very large plastic bag which split down the center yesterday...grrr...so I went and bought a 3 drawer plastic chest, I already have one full, so today I am going to sort it all by colors and get it out of the way!

I am far from being organized, but if I spend a few minutes on a small task it helps to keep me from feeling overwhelmed. I try to spend a couple of minutes in the morning doing a small task before I go to work. If I am not traveling, I sometimes run home at lunch and wash a load of laundry. I try to do another small task when I get home from work before I start dinner and another small task before I go to bed.

Thanks Amy. That saying "just do it" comes to mind. A few min here & there really does add up.
