Junk Drawers
Junk drawers don't have to be neat, but it helps if you can find what you know is in there. Use adjustable dividers, utility cutlery trays, or small cardboard boxes to contain similar items such as matches, candles, pens and pencils, and coupons.

We did away with junk drawers about two years ago. I have small baskets on the shelves in the laundry room that are labeled for each one of us.
I got tired of not being able to find what I was looking for and dumped the entire drawer. and opted for baskets. It works alot better for us and I still have all my drawers for things I really need to use.

I have THREE junk drawers plus a candy drawer
in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. Dh will tease me and says He'll clean them out (his idea of cleaning them out is throwing everything away).I hate cleaning them out.It means I have to find a home for what I take out..I just move it to another junk drawer

I have creative clutter (aka-junk) drawers in my kitchen and my bathroom and even one in my desk. I need to organize them but I tend to procrastinate when it comes to them. Someday I will get it done, LOL.
