Default what do you use on your hardwood floors?

to clean them. I'm iso a regular cleaner. I've heard of using vinegar and water, but I'm not sure I like the idea of water on wood. I don't see a super shiny finish on these floors, so I am not sure what type of protection seal there is. They are in good condition though. I don't care if they are shiny. I only care that they are clean and not being damaged when cleaned.

I have always use soap and water. It works pretty good. I use the swiffer wett cloths for small job and touch ups. I bought some pledge wood cleaner but it didn't do any better than the soap and water.

Ok...don't shoot us because we were not frugal in this....

we bought the Hoover floor mate and use the cleaning solution that came with it. It works so good and it's so easy to use.

We tend to clean ours with a weak vinegar/water solution. We don't do this very often since much of the floors are covered with area rugs.
