    Default Unpacking From Vacation Problem

    Does anyone else experience this?

We didn't bring back any more stuff than we left with, yet, while it took me one night to pack for the entire family for a week, so far, it has taken me four days to unpack and I'm still not done yet. I don't really know what my hold up is about it, but I'm really struggling to get it all done.

Another problem I'm having is that at the end of camp, the director put out a bunch of construction paper and lined yellow paper and graph paper, etc., that had been ordered years ago, but no one ever used. It was in a big box and the sign said, "This will be thrown out....please take." I've got a two year old who loves to draw a tiny line on a piece of paper and then be done with it, so I took it all. Now that it's all home, I've got nowhere for it. I'm drowning in paper and vacation mess!

Amy, I know what you mean about unpacking. Thats the least favorite thing to do when I come home from vacation. It seems to take forever to get done.

    WTG though on the paper!!

I feel your pain! It took me forever to get all of our stuff put back up when we got home. I just now got all the suitcases put back in storage!

The worst part about vacations is unpacking! LOL Can you store the paper under the bed someplace? Just an idea.

Oh definately unpacking is always THE WORST, not to mention it takes days to ever get all the laundry finished.

I too think unpacking is the worst part of vacation. I can pack quick but unpacking can take days, not to mention the mountain of laundry that usually results. Hang in there and just know that it will eventually get done.

    Amy,
I'm so glad to see you back and posting again. I pray your morning sickness has passed!

As for the unpacking, I know just what you mean. I can have us packed and ready to go in about 2 hours total, but it takes me at least a week to get unpacked, things put away and the laundry caught up again.

As fpr the paper, could you get one of those rubbermaid caddys with the drawers so you can store and seperate the paper? We have several here that we use for all the markers, pencils, erasers, pens, etc.. It really seems to help us and it doesn't take up all that much room.
