Default If noone hears from me....

Send in reinforcements. It is now my decluttering time. I am on a cleaing spree. DH cleaned up around and under the porch the other day and now I am doing the bedrooms. We are trying to get rid of as much "junk" as we can so that when he finally gets his promotion and we move we won't have as much stuff to take with us.

As for the clothes I know the thrift store will take the ones we don't use, what about dishes and appliances from when we were in college and before we got our new stuff when we got married. Will they take that stuff all so, I hate to throw it out if someone else can use it.

Anyway. I've got 2 bags of stuff I can toss and 2 loads of laundry done. I may quit after the master bedroom and closets and save the extra room and aliving room for tomorrow.

Well, wish me luck. Hopefully I will be back alive and well tonight unless I get attacked by a huge dust bunny.

Good luck! Teather yourself to something really heavy if you come across a really scary place. May the force be with you...

Okay it's been an hour and here is where I stand so far, I'm up to 2 bags that can go to the dump and one big pile that once its all cleaned I plan on taking to the local fire deppartment to be given to battered woman and children (I know they did that in my home town, so I am hoping the local FD's do it here as well). I've emptied out all of mine and DH's dressers as well to re-organize them. I'm still doing laundry and as it comes out I am going on and ironing DH's work shirts and pants and folding or hanging up all the other things. Eventhough there are still a few warm day's left I am still packing (clean) summer clothes so they will be ready for next spring/summer.

I'll be back later with another update.

Maybe I should at that the 2 bags are in addition to the two mentioned in the first post. I didn't want you ladies to think that I had decluttered any since then....lol

So that make my grand total thus far 4 bags of junk to get rid of. (Dh will be so proud, he'll think he is at someone elses home...lol)

Okey, I've given up for the night but I intend to finish when I get home from work tomorrow. When my new job starts next week I don't want to have to come hoime and do it.

Okey it is now day 2 of my Decluttering time. I ended up not leaving work until 5 and then I had to go to the store so I am getting a much later start than I intended. I should have been off work and home by 3, but my 2nd hostess for the day called in with morning sickenss so I had to work until the 4 o'clock host got there (and of course he was 45 minutes late...MEN!!!

Almost all the laundry is now done and they are in keep/store/donate pile's. I guess I will get to the back bedroom on Saturday since that will be my next day off. I may try to get it done in bits and pieces in the evenings after work.

    I'll keep you posted.
