do you use a towel more than once before washing it?
Are you a one use per towel person, or do you hang your towel and reuse?
Hubby and I use our towels up to a week before we toss in the laundry.
What do you do?

I usually go around 5-7 days before getting a new towel. It took me a looooong time to get my dh out of the I-need-a-new-towel-for-every-shower routine

We generally go through 4 per week for the 2 of us, 1 for hair 1 for body each and they get washed on the weekend.

Gregg uses a clean towel each day only because he don't have to do the laundry. I use my towel a week, both the one for my hair and my big bath sheet. I hang them up to dry when i'm done and they make it a week.

Dh and I use ours 5-7 days. I often use the same towel to dry all 3 kids after their baths. Gasp!

We all use our towels for the week and rehang them on the towel bars. Hand towels in the bathroom get changed every day though!

We hand our towel up after each bath and reuse it for about 4 days. Miguel (hubby) used to drive me crazy when we first moved in together cause he would use a towel for every bath.
I use a new towel for my boys everytime I bath them cause they have such bad skin (break out in a rash's alot).

There are 4 of use in the family. I have finally gotten them all trained to hang their towel on the towel rack and use it again and again until it disappears. It disappears twice a week because I do laundry twice a week, but If I didn't take them they would probably use that same towel until it just flat ran off on its own. They have found it is so much more convient to use that towel they hung up the night before as to open the cabinet for a fresh new towel.
I must add I can not believe what a diffence it has made in how much laundry I have to fold. 4x1x7=28 towels alone in one week I would have to wash and fold

We use our towels for about a week. Gypsy, my dog, has a bath once a week and I will use a dirty towel of ours if we're getting ready to clean the bathrooms. Otherwise, I use an old ratty one that I keep for her use on her.

Whew! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who uses the same towel for dh and I for almost a whole week! The way I figure, after you get out of the shower and dry off, you're just drying off clean water, so the towel never really gets dirty. The only time I pull out a fresh towel mid week is if I take a shower after dh and the towel is already wet. I hate drying off with a wet towel!! Normally, I wash 2 towels a week.

well i am in a minority here. I hate to say it but it is one shower one towel. (really 2 need one for the hair too) the hair towel i don't mind reusing but the body towel has to be clean. I know if i am getting out of a shower clean than isn't the towel still clean too but with that thought why would i ever have to wash it anyway. There must be some one else out there that does this too. come on fess up let me know i am not the only one who does this.

Towels get used about a week here...and no, we don't mind sharing each others towels either so as to save on towel washing (so long as the towel is dry that is....I can't stand a soggy one).
In the summer sometimes they get washed twice a week, or at least aired out on the line for an hour a couple times a week to get rid of any potential mold growth (no air conditioning and hot humid southern climate)
