Thumbs up Heres what I tossed so far from the spring clean fling

My linen closet was filled with books. Because of the spring clean fling, I took them all out and went through every book. Today I took a full box of books to the local library. All new books. They have a very limited budget, so the librarian was thrilled.

I also took a set of old encyclopedias to the goodwill. I figured seeing as I was doing that, I may as well fill the bag with things from the closets and so took 1 full garbage bag, along with another grocery bag, along with a grocery bag full of books as well for goodwill.

We dropped everything off this afternoon. Ooooh I'm loving this spring clean fling.

    I also threw out yesterday:

    ~little pieces of soap
    ~an empty toothpaste box
    ~poli-grip dh doesn't use anymore dated 2000
~empty rolls from tp. The kids just put them in the built in cabinet when they are empty rather than in the recycling where they belong.
    ~an old rubber glove

Can't wait until Monday to see what will be doing.

WTG CJ!!! You are doing great!

I am tossing some encyclopedias as well...actually I am taking them to Goodwill. Why take up space when you can just look it up on the internet?

    This afternoon I flung:

    ~a few Christmas ornaments (goodwill)
~a number of computer games (goodwill)
    ~another encyclopedia set (goodwill)
    ~6 children's books (sent to a friend's little one)

I also tossed a number of papers I found that were no longer any good.

WTG everyone else who is flinging as well. It does feel good. I don't have a whole lot more to fling right now, but each time I do it feels great!!

I flung 3 pairs of rubber gloves yesterday, every pair leaked in the right hand!

Today Jack took the TV and 3 more garbage bags FULL to my younger sister. Mostly towels (2 bags) and all the feminine products I don't need anymore along with assorted other items.

WTG CJ, sounds like you got a lot done. The more I think about it I think i could get more done myself if I flung DH. Does that count towards the spring flinging

March 16 - today I flung out a large garbage bag of junk, holie socks, torn t-shirts, old clothes of dh's. Another garbage bag of papers and cardboard boxes that I wasn't using.

    Donating to goodwill:

    ~an adding machine
    ~kids clothing
    ~picture frame
~woodworking books dh doesn't use (he donated those)
~old jewellery haven't used in years

    Awe, but this feels good.

Another full bag of garbage went out yesterday, filled with papers and junk.

I filled another garbage bag with kids clothing, books and a few odds and ends to go to goodwill and I've started another one that is half full.

We donated another box of books to the library yesterday. Dh went through his books and found a bunch he never used. And like he said, if I ever need one I know where it is.
