What is your favorite thing about your kitchen?
and what is your least favorite?
My favorite thing about my kitchen is the nice large size of it and the great windows that look out over my back yard into the pasture full of horses behind my house.
My least favorite would be my old and worn out counter tops. The are warped and outdated. I clean and clean them and they still look yucky. I hope to get new ones later this year.

My most favorite thing is my china cup rack that we brought from our home in Winnipeg. I also like my washing machine is in my kitchen.
My least favorite thing are my cupboards. They are old and really should be replaced.

My favorite thing is the view out the kitchen window. I also like the lighting in there.
My least favorite thing is the cheap-made drawers. I would love to replace them.~*Michelle*~

Favorite: Lots of counter space
Least favorite: My kitchen sink faces out into the family room instead of being on an exterior wall under a window

Favorite thing: I actually have enough cabinet space for everything (although I have managed to clutter it up a few times.
Least favorite thing would have to be the fact that there is no dishwasher
I miss my home in the mountians. The kitchen was bigger and I had a dish washer
. Maybe one day we will finally make it back there.

My favorite thing in my kitchen is my patio door, even if it's old and hard to open, I can see my whole back yard.
But I would love to see what you see Kathy....horses in a feild....
My least favorite thing is also my counter...it is old white melamine and it is so hard to make it look clean. I hate melamin! One day we will have wooden cabinets.....one day....

favourite thing: the window over the sink that looks over my whole garden. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that! It's a south west exposure so it's sunny.
and my other favourite thing is the blue and white wallpaper and fruit garland border.
Oh and the light now, dh put in a new fan over the stove with 2 halogen lights and OH DO I EVER LOVE THEM! And when I replaced the 60 watt bulbs with those new flourescent bulbs from Costco the light level went up.
Can't stand dark kitchens or dark counters. Until the halogen stove lights I was thinking about under cabinet lights.
Least favourite, the corner cupboard between sink and stove wastes a lot of space and it's hard to dig into. I wish the builder had used a corner opening like he did with the other. Instead this has a long deep side that opens off the undersink.

Favorite things~ View when doing dishes, warm honey cabinets, easy steps to everything
Grumbles~not having table in kitchen because it is so small (it's on insulated porch right next to the kitchen, you can see onto the porch from where my stove is and of coarse the door that leads to it.) Not big enough to have many people in kitchen at same time. I love a kitchen full of people just hanging out.
Kitchens are definately the heart of the home in my book.~*Darlene*~

My most favorite-- it's huge! and it feels "homey" (is that a word? but it makes me feel like home), the walk in pantry just off the corner of the stove, the high ceilings. . . .
Least favorite? virtually NO counter space, ancient sink in a metal cabinet. I LOVE the size of the sink-- I can get my huge stock pots in it, but it's so old and difficult to clean.

Favorite...Lots of space..kitchen is 28ft. long...lots of cupboards...Lovely Bay window by table, for watching birds
Least favorite...Need new Counter tops...also one side is very dark...due to color of cupboards. The wood has darkened quite alot in the 25 years we have had them...need better lighting!
I still enjoy my Kitchen...it is the heart of this home.

Favorite - lots of room, and I love the views from the windows in that room.
Least Favorite - everything else! Actually, everything in my kitchen is old...it was built in 1948 when then put plumbing in my house, and hardly anything has changed since then. I absolutely hate my sink though....it's an old combo unit with a top-loading dishwasher (which doesn't work), and is set in a metal cupboard - very ugly. I would love to have a double sink again!
