Default Sorry gals I can't keep up.....

I have tried but with my low level of energy and the amount I actually have to do around here, I just can't keep up. I will write down all the missions and keep working at them, but it may take me through the summer to actually do them all.

I'm hoping I am just having a couple of bad days here and next week will be better. I'll post to each mission as I actually complete it.

Thank you Carolyn and Amy for doing this, if it wasn't for you I never would have started. And thanks to all you ladies for all the encouragement, it really does help.

    Dee~
I'm Spring Flinging at my own pace, too. I really want to keep up with the missions listed here, but, I have to do other things first in order to get our house ready to sell.

I think as long as we're still flinging and getting some decluttering done, that's what really matters!

Dee, I have to say I'm with you in this one, between the IV and the predisone I have been feeling really bad the past few weeks any way. I have been trying to do a few 15 minutes sweeps as I go. I do a little and try to get some of the stuff I lost on this puter caught up while I rest.
It may take me till next spring to get done!

I did get my paperwork from the doctor today for my medical retirement and have an appointment with the HR man on Tuesday to get that finalized , that will be a big releif for me.
    Take care of yourself!

Oh Dee, don't you worry about not keeping up. Your health is far more important. I took the day off today too and didn't do a thing. I'm probably going to be behind on this mission as well because dh is home until at least Monday and I don't want to be cleaning while he is home.

You take as long as you need okay. We all understand.

Like I pm'd Dee, this is just my 2¢. This stuff didn't get here overnight & it's not going away overnight. It's kinda like losing weight. Anything you can do is better than nothing. If it's one paper, one book, one anything that is gone it's progress. Don't give up, go at your own pace & we'll all meet with the same results. You all are doing so well!
Don't get overwhelmed by what has yet to be done, be proud of what you've done.
I'm proud of all of you Flingers!!!

I hope that you are soon feeling better. I am also not able to keep up with the fling but mine is because of the hours that I work, it throws me behind. I was trying to get it done after I got off each day, but working 12 hour shifts I was just too beat to do much housework when I got home. I know I won't get it all done on schedule but eventually I will get it done.

Girl, you did a whole ROOM! No wonder you're beat! And you know what, I can't keep up either. We all did so good at first, remember, then we had to spend a whole day doing laundry!

Thanks girls, I know all this 'stuff' didn't get here overnight and I think Darlene hit it on the head, I am beginning to feel overwhelmed by what a huge task this is. Doesn't seem to LOOK like I have done anything yet. We have a big home and I have managed to fill every little nook and cranny with something. It is time for most of it to go, I can't stand looking at the clutter any more.

Carolyn, I don't want you to feel guilty or responsible for me, I made this mess and you're all right it did take me years to do it, so it stands to reason it will take me months to clean it up.

I think I am more mad at my body, it won't keep up with my mind. I'll still get to the finish line just not as soon as I would have liked.

On the plus side, seeings as I am sitting on my butt and resting, I found a new crochet stitch and have 1/4 of an afghan finished.

Angie, You just take it easy, you are still going through treatments and those are exhausting both physcially and mentally. I'm so happy to hear your medical retirement came through, what a load off your mind.

    Ladies,

I'm so sorry if I gave you the wrong impression. I am staying IN the fling, I just won't be able to do everything you are doing at the same time.

My first post I think I was having a little pity party for myself. Well that is over now and I'm getting back into the swing of things.

I'll keep posting and do a little of each fling as you all do it. You are all so motivating that I am actually having FUN cleaning!

So don't count me out yet, I'm still a FLINGING!! Just not as fast I as I want to be.

Thank you for all the support and kindness you have shown me, I love you all!

Dee I'm going at my own pace also. I love having the different "missions" to do, but I am taking it slowly since that would take all my time (my house needs some serious help) and I still have kids to teach, volunteer work, etc.

Don't sweat it Dee. I doubt that anyone can do all the missions in perfect time. Hey we all have lives and they are all different. It's just fun to know that the rest of you are somewhere cleaning something along with me. Some days I am just too lazy and some days I just have something more pressing to do. But in the end, we will all have nice, less cluttered homes and have shared a tons of laughs doing this. Consider yourself hugged!
