Default Come on Flingers ~Report in!~

    Hi Gals,

I told Carolyn while she was I away I would help to try and keep everyone motivated. Don't know why, I'm in need of help in that area myself lately.

Today I am working on my bottom cabinets in the kitchen. So far I have 2 completely emptied and the inside washed out, the outside cleaned and polished and hope to get at least 2 more emptied and cleaned out today. Then I will have a better idea of where and how I want to rearrange things so I can utilize them better. You don't want to see what my kitchen looks like right now, every available surface is being used.

I did take before pics, so as soon as I am done I will post them to the correct mission thread.

Don't forget, you have participate in the threads on flinging to earn your broom. Otherwise Amy and Carolyn don't know what you are up to unless you tell us.

So what are you flinging today??? Inquiring minds want to know......

hmmm Ok, dh and I are still flinging Gyproc. Sure was nice that our neighbor loaned us her dh's truck to take the old tub and mildewed gyproc to the dump along with the old surround.

Now we are working on the walls, and some has still got to come down.

I'm flinging papers and boxes! I also have a huge pile of catalogues that I'm taking back to the Sears outlet, they recycle them for us.

I am flingin papers and junk from the upstairs closets and under my bed still!!

I have to explain that the closets upstairs in my house are about 6' x 9' and packed with stuff-n-such..this is gonna take a loooong time.

No flingin will get done tomorrow, as we are in clinic all day, then church dinner and service if possible-so I have to fling enough today for today and tomorrow!!

I am counting down to my major fling. the plan is to hit the laundry room hard once dh goes for his out of town job. after that, i plan on going after his armoire, and the kitchen. If after I do all that, if i have time left, I will hit the den. I plan on redecorating the den this year.

    Heather, I didn't know Sear's recycles!

Arlene, Those are HUGE closets! Please don't tire yourself out too much, tomorrow is a very long day.

Melissa, so you are still planning on the sneak attack fling huh? When does Erick leave for his out-of-town job?

I spent over 3 hrs working on my fridge--inside and out. I also moved it and scrubbed the wall and baseboard behind it AND the floor underneath. It was naaasty.

    Friday I tackle the oven

Does flinging old strawberry plants and weeds out of the garden count??? Today the boys and I weeded , dug out and hauled 12 buckets of fresh compost back to our home to supplement the soil and get the strawberry bed ready to plant. We then planted 36 new strawberry plants and 8 brocolli plants in the garden. Jaysn cleaned out all the grass and weeds from around one of the rose bushes near the front walk. Chris just mowed a lawn for a lady here in town and is now on his way down to rake another elderly lady's lawn for her. I'm going to get out and mow the front lawn before hubby gets home and have Jaysn do the back yard later.

Not really flinging here today but am certainly cleaning. I have vacuumed the whole house and hope to get everything dusted before bed as well. I want it all clean before the weekend this time. Yesterday I completely cleaned Ryan's room and we tossed out a big bag of trash and took lots of seldom used things to the basement. Her room looks twice as big now.

well we cleaned up, and took a breather. I am so grateful for that neighbor's truck that day. Saved us a lot of hassle.

Our dog got into the kitchen gbg and did a little flinging herself, found a nice ripe pork chop bone, and i just cleaned up the mess. She looks pleased with herself.

I will not fling the dog, I do love her.
