    Default The Dreaded "Container Cupboard"

This was the first cabinet I attacked during that portion of the Spring Fling. (Makes it sound like I've finished the kitchen cupboards, lol) I purged a ton of containers, I mean how many did I really need anyway? All of the things that don't get used everyday are in back. I have a small stack of suare containers and a small stack of round containers right up front. All the lids are in the drawer above, in the same order. This used to be a real trouble spot for me, but since I've done this, a month or so ago, it has stayed tidy.

I didn't put that black cake pan there, but I didn't have to fix anything before I took the photo either!

    Great job Karen!

I too have been good about putting things back where they belong, Jack on the other hand.

That was also the first cupboard I did during that section. It felt great to have it done! Of course, it's daily maintenance because Julia pulls all of that out and plays picnic while I make dinner most nights.

    Looks great!

We use tons of containers weekly as we send meals to DH's grandma. I finally gave up on keeping them neat in a cupboard, and now use the big drawer under my stove for all the plastic containers. (I don't have any other drawers in the kitchen other than the silverware & utensil drawers.) It works out much better for us- my baking sheets and broiler pan were moved to another cupboard and stand on end.
