Talking WooHoo, I have clean carpets

Last night when DH got home frorm work, we went over to the 24 hour grocery store and rented a Rug Doctor. Those big black spots that took up most of the beige carpet are now gone.

We don't know what it was and we don't want to know. I told him I was going to go in the store and ask for the solution that would clean up a crime scene it looked so bad.

When we changed the water after going over the biggest spot twice Joe said it looked like motor oil it was so dark. YUCK.

I hope the neighbors weren't to upset with the noise that late, but truth be told, I wasn't that concerned for them. Besides it was only about 10 or 10:30.

Anyway, the big spots that made me mad when we got here are gone. (At least to the point you can't tell how bad it was). And now we can go on and move the rest of our stuff up here and start getting some furniture without having to move it so we can clean them again.

Kathryn I'm so glad you got your carpet cleaned. Our water is always that dirty when we clean so don't feel bad.

Ds's room looks like a battle ground. I just noticed yesterday that his mauve carpet is mostly black and mauve. He keeps spilling pop on it and not bothering to clean it up so I'm pretty sure thats what most of it is.

    Enjoy your "new" carpet.
