    Default Porcelain Cleaning Question

    Okay, two questions:

    1) We had a pot sitting in our white porcelain sink and now there are black marks that I can't get out. Any thoughts? (Frugal thoughts?)

    2) Our bathtub has similar spots under the soap dish. Could be the SOS pad that I used to clean the tub (works great, but I'm afraid now it may have caused these spots). Any thoughts?

    Please don't say Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, because I tried that and it didn't work. Other ideas would be more than welcome!

    Did the spots come out with the comet? I also only use comet on my porcelian sinks. I like to use those teflon scrubers. Be sure not to use the pot scrubber ones. I buy the gentle ones.
