How do you remove pen marks from woodwork?
My ds went pen happy this AM and drew on the windowsill in his room with a pen he had found
I know rubbing alcohol takes it off everything else, but is it safe to use on wood? TIA!!

not sure, if it's painted it should be. Also hair spray works great on pen or marker.

No paint, just lightly stained. I hate painted trim. I tried rubbing alcohol and it didn't do anything. I'm just trying to avoid having to sand it down and restain it.

Try using baking soda and toothpaste mixed together to make a paste.Apply to the area you want to clean with a soft damp cloth. This worked on my coffee table. I hope it works for you.
