Are you overrun by writing utensils?
I am.
I know, I know. Right now you are thinking, "Hypocrite!" It's true. I am. In the Spring Fling for your desks, I wrote that you only need one pen of each color and a pencil. Did I follow that rule? No. NO...I DIDN'T!
Let's be clear. First of all, my job REQUIRES me to have many writing utensils. I can't tell my students to be prepared if I am not. However, perhaps I've gone a bit overboard. Let me show you how many pens/pencils/and markers I have in my computer room right now. (The purple tin is actually quite deep)
Somebody help me!
(By the way...I found another whole big pencil case more full of pens after taking the picture, but was too depressed about finding it to take another picture with it in it!)My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

Markers & pencils don't seem to walk away but pens do.
Not too many of each here.~*Darlene*~

LOL, MMP, don't blame AMy just yet... I have alot too, rofl. I have 2 pencil jars (? right word?) here, plus some here and there on the computer desk. I have a basket full of them in my craft cupboard, I have a box of em in my closet. and at least three dozen in my night stand. I have at least a dozen in my den and a few in my kitchen as well. I bet i have 4-5 in my bag. i don't even have a job to blame it on, and the kids aren't using them yet. (besides DS has his OWN pencil and crayon box!)

I can't even find one over here and when I do it's out of ink. I use a lot of yellow crayons. I don't know why yellow, white, and pink are the only crayons available when I need anything to write with either.

I'm guilty of having too many pens, pencils, and highlighters. Like Amy, my job requires me to have plenty of writing utensils available. However, the majority of my work is done at work and they supply the utensils there. I have always loved different color inks and that has led to the abundance here. Plus DH is bad to bring in pens when he sticks them in his shirt pocket and forgets they are there.
As for containing the utensils, I have 2 shoebox size Rubbermaid containers for that purpose. I do have a mug on my computer desk stuffed full, though, ready to be used at any time. :pencil:
