Default I cleaned out my freezer today!

The one in the basement. I knew there was a lot of stuff in there! Look what I found!

    41 packs of ground beef
    2 beef roasts
    1 pack cube steaks
    4 packs round steak
    1 Ribeye
    1 mystery beef item

    10 pork roasts
    6 packs of ground pork
    3 ring bologna
    15 packs of bacon
    8 packs of sausage
    9 packs of pork chops
    1 small ham roast
    4 ham steaks
    2 packs sliced ham
    1 mystery ham chunk
    3 ham hocks
    1 german sausage

    1/2 a turkey
    4 packs of turkey breasts
1 pack of 2 turkey legs
    1 pack labeled "turkey"
    4 whole chickens
    2 packs of chicken thighs
    1 pack of chicken hindquarters
    2 packs of chicken breasts

    6 packs of hot dogs
    3 packs of Bratwurst

I got it all sorted and labeled and listed and such. This is a chest freezer with no shelves or anything, so I packed it all in sturdy milk crates. Whew! Now I know how to plan my menus!

I thought this thread got lost! It feels really good to know what's in there and to be able to find it! We have 8 lbs of ground venison in the freezer outside, plus there's a freezer in the garage I haven't been through yet. (it's always covered in tools) I have (8) Wine Tags for $1 off fresh meat, chicken or seafood that expire this month. What to get? How about some frsh jumbo shrimp to wrap in bacon and cook on the grill! Compulsive stockpiling has hidden benefits!

Sounds delish. Makes my freezer seem skimpy in comparison. LOL.
