slipcovers
I have wanted a slipcover for our couch forever. So Jackie bought me one months ago and I was so happy! Fast forward to the present.....I hate that stupid slipcover!! I fix it in the morning and Jackie comes home from work, sits on it and it looks terrible. I cannot keep it tucked in.
Any suggestions??

Laci, I hear you! Same problem here. I have slipcovers on my couch and loveseat. It looks so neat and tidy until someone sits on it
I have the kind that you throw on the couch and tuck in....I'm thinking that the ones that slip over the cushions individually would have been better.

Yeah, I have that same kind! I wish I could make one that would fight my couch perfectly.
Everytime I watch Trading Spaces and they make slipcovers, I feel so sorry for the people that have to live with them. They are such pains.

I was thinking the same thing Laci, I see on that show so many beautiful slipcovers but did you notice, no one is sitting on them!

Would upholstery pins not work to hold it in place?

Laci,
I've been wanting a slip cover for the couch in Mel's office. I think I'll just wait a bit longer now.

hmm glad you mentioned this subject. I've been thinking of slip covers but I hate straightening stuff to look neat all the time.

I've seen narrow meter pvc pipes used someplace too. This is from http://www.domestications.com/dept.a...ept%5Fid=17100

I tried putting rolled up magazines in the cracks. It worked for a little while.
