Do any of you do "Fall" Cleaning?
I know we all do "Spring "Cleaning, but do any of you do special cleaning to get ready for Winter? If so what are they?
During the Spring I wash the windows, but before the Fall I have to vaccuum out all the cobwebs and dust from screens (Summer accumulation) before I shut the windows for Winter and put the plastic up.
I like to throughly clean out my fridge a second time, so that's it's clean during the months that I have a hard time cleaning it.
I wash all my area rugs a second time to get them ready for Winter use.
We have decluttered all junk in the basement and old clothing we have donated to the Salvation Army.
I made sure all extra bedding (comforters that guests use) are washed and put away. Same goes for pillows, if they need to be washed.

I'd like to do the same thing this fall as we all did for spring. I know my house could use the missions all over again.

I will be doing a major cleanup right before our family reunion in October. Not quite as heavy duty as Spring but still enough to make a difference in the house's appearance.

I also like to do a major cleaning in the fall like in the spring. I like to get everything ready for all the holidays.

I don't do fall or spring cleaning.
I follow Flylady, so all that stuff pretty much gets spread out over time. I'm sure there are some things that would need to be done or should be done.
But, I don't really do anything different with each season.

I prefer to do cleaning in the Fall. Spring is spent working more in the yard for me. I can't wait to get outside once winter is over!

This is a really good idea. I think I'll come up with a cleaning list for fall.

Yes, I do a Spring and Fall cleaning.
Fall is usually bigger because the house is dirtier after being open all summer than closed all winter!
We also have to clean and put away all the lawn and garden tools for another year and break out the "snow gear." ( This includes everything from shovels to snowgear and pack summer clothing).
In the Spring, there's alot less cleaning chaos, but it needs to be done!
