Default What have you organized this week?

I worked some in the basement yesterday. I have all of the playdough in one container, the rescue heroes in another. I can walk down there and find a cookbook at a glance! lol

I reorganized the refrigerator, not just cleaning, but trying to group things together to make them easily available.

What are some areas you've been working on?

Starting in the laundry room. (We don't have a washer and dryer yet we are going to get that with Christmas money, and my stepdad usually gets us a Lowes Hardware gift card so that will go towards it as well) However since we moved that was the room we put all the boxes in. I still have quite a few to go thru. I'm trying to get thru the ones that say dishes and get all that stuff washed and those things put up so I guess you could say I am working on the kitchen as well.

Joe is off today so I am not unpacking. I will try to get a lot done tomorrow. I tried to earlier this week but everytime I would finish one box I would take a nap....lol

    Does weeding count?

I am NOT an outdoors kind of gal but with Jack out of commission with his back, I am doing the outside work. I mowed yesterday, but our weedeater is gas powered and too heavy and big for me. So I'm out there doing all the trimming/weeding by hand!

Everyone's clothes. I went through the summer stuff and all the winter stuff. I ended up with a large box and a large bag to donate to goodwill. I still have a bit more to go through.

Dd's closet is now organized as is the boy's closet. I still have the small closet in the upstairs foyer to do.

Organized the magazines for my quilting guild. Did some organizing in my sewing room. Cleaned out my refrigerator and organized it. My next big project is organizing my photo album which I will start tomorrow but it will take a while to get complete. It's one of my goals in the goal setter club.

I cleaned out our fridge a few days ago and organized what was left.

I worked on my closet earlier in the week-- trying to avoid moving clothes that I haven't worn in years. I have a new Goodwill bag started & hope to fill it by the end of the weekend.

I wouldn't exactly call it organizing, but I did take 3 huge lawn and leaf bags full of clothes to Goodwill. I was so glad to get them out of my sewing room.

I am going through baby keepsake and school boxes! It takes a lot of time because I am very simple minded (blonde!! ) so of course I have to update the school memory books, and then the yearly pictures, and then I have to figure out why I still can't find Aimee's third grade pictures (she's in 7th!!) and then I have to smile and cry over the cute little things they have made for me and.... Well you know, Its pretty easy to get carried away!

I organized my bookshelves and cleaned and put away stuff in the computer room. Also did some organizing in the garage.

I washed all my new fabric and put it away in containers and stacked them all neatly in my closet.

My yarn container (big rubbermaid container) got a revamping. Took all the pattern books and pages out and put them on shelf in my office (which doubles as my bedroom).

I redid my dresser as well as my dh's (we both have a 5 drawer upright dresser on either side of the bed).

hmmm, I went through the house gathering my sewing stuff and tucked it into my sewing box.

i think that may be it. But reading all these I am getting more motivated....LOL

Yesterday I was back in the kitchen again. I organized my baking pans and tupperware drawers. I decluttered some unneeded stuff and put it in the yard sale pile. I may just take it to the Goodwill. I wiped out the drawers/cabinets real well and now they are nice and clean . I have a few more to do. I hope to concentrate on one room at a time. Babysteps.
