    Default Cleaning Bibs Question

For those of you who have/had children...how do/did you keep your bibs clean? I realize that bibs are meant to be dirty, but you know what I mean. Patrick's bibs look like he is the youngest of 20 kids who all used the same bibs. I use stain stick, wash in bleach and NOTHING gets them clean. Some of them I've thrown away recently because they are so gross, and I gotta tell you...Patrick is a really neat eater!

    So, any bib cleaning advice?

Amy, I don't have kids but I have recently discoverd Tilex!

Wet the item first, then spay with Tilex, if it is really a tough stain spray it again in about 5 minutes. Rinse in clear water and launder as usual.

This has gotten grass stains, mud, tomato sauce, blood etc out of my white canvas sneaks and a couple of shirts. Make sure you wet the item first though or it will make a hole just like bleach.

I use the Tilex Mildew Remover.

I soaked ds's soiled clothes in Biz (colorsafe bleach) and then put the wet clothes directly into the washer and washed as usual. Seemed to work most of the time...

I used to keep a 5 qt bucket of Oxy on the dryer to toss the bibs in, then just dumped the whole thing in with the towels and socks and underwear and a little bleach. I'll be doing dd's socks that way again this winter probably.

Ditto here, only I used Clorox color-safe bleach.  I do the same thing with my dishcloths.
