Where do you keep your phone books?
I have an art deco table in the entryway. The phone is on it and there's a shelf and I put the phone books there, but I can't take looking at them there. It looks sloppy. My kids rip the covers off the phone books and everyone seems to use it as a catch all spot too. I guess I could just pop them in the hall closet, but was curious where everyone else has their phone books.

We keep one in SO's office on the bookcase. We keep one in the foyer on the table that the telephone sits on. It has a little shelf that we keep the phone book on and I keep one in my car for when I have an emergency and need to use the cell phone to call someplace (like the dr. office).

We keep ours in a small cupboard above our fridge. There was a time when DH ordered about 20 phone books each year for every place we had the remotest connection to. Thankfully those days are over.
We have local area street maps in our phone books so the old ones are used in our cars and then recycled.

We have two different ones and they're both quite thick. They are stacked on top of each other and sitting in one of the dining room chairs. Ds sits there to do his school work so I just leave them there. Not attractive, but I hate moving them back and forth.

On the floor where we last used them.
OMG I can't believe I just gave away a secret of my unorganized mind!!! We are forever looking for telephone books. Both dh and myself are bad for just leaving them where we last used them.
Maybe in the new year it might be something I try working on - organization and a place for everything!!
