    Default They are OUTTA HERE! -UPDATE AT END-

    Okay, in the basement/laundry room are about 4 grocery bags full of stuff we moved from the old house. They haven't been looked at since we moved. My instinct is to just take them all out to the trash without looking inside, but when I mentioned this to dh, he just about had a heart attack.

    So, today I am going to go through them QUICKLY and throw out anything that I think we don't even remotely need. Everything else will be diverted to their homes and that will be the end of that clutter!

    Good luck Amy! I agree with Gina. I bet you wouldn't miss anything either since they have been in the basement all this time and you haven't seen to miss anything from them.

    Well! I emptied all the garbage bags. There wound up being stockpile stuff that was never put away, stuff from our vacation at the shore, and a variety of other things. I wound up tossing about 3 bags full of stuff and putting everything else where it belonged.

    HOWEVER, while I was there, I came across about 3 huge garbage bags full of hand-me-down clothes that we moved from the old house that a few people had given me for Patrick. I had planned on washing them and putting them away when we moved. So, I dumped them all on the laundry room floor and am in the process of cleaning and putting them away as well. Without those clothing bags and those other 4 bags, there is so much more space down there! I'm thrilled!
