This is great Sara, and I am going to print this and more information you have posted here out for my mom. She has years and years worth of clutter that has accumulated, and she does not know where to begin, and to be honest, neither do I in her home. It is at a point where it is just so overwhelming for me to even go there and look at it. But it is going to be a major spring chore to help her declutter and then start remodeling. If my mom gives me permission, I would love to post before and after pictures here of the progress.
If you happen to come across anymore good articles, I would love to print those out too for my mom. Thanks!

Sara...Great article and great word with regards to clutter..."choice." We certainly do make a choice, every day about the type of home we choose to live in. Everyone has different comfort levels with regards to how much clutter/dirt/stuff they will tolerate in their home and be comfortable with. Even within the declutter challenge, I want people to only do as much as they are comfortable doing. Quite a few people were VERY uncomfortable turning their hangers around to identify clothes that were rarely worn. No problem...they made that choice for themselves and created other ways to identify those items.
Choice...love that word!My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com
