Malcom is "cleaning"
Well since I have to take it easy until Jacob is born Malcom is trying hard to take care of the cleaning. Well last night he cooked me dinner (nothing new with that) and I started to clean the kitchen afterwards. He told me to go sit down he would take care of this. Well, okay - we will see how this goes. I just looked at him and inside thought "Oh my goodness..........."
Well, I heard him loading the dishwasher and just thought it was best if I didn't go "supervise". This morning I got up to make coffee and looked in the dishwasher.....guess what I saw??? The bottom of the dishwasher had 2 small pots and 2 dinner plates. The top had 3 cups on top with the silverwear all over the dishwasher - not in the silverwear holder that goes on the bottom. Guess where that was??? On the counter!!!!
So needless to say it was not a full load - not even close!! But I can't complain.....he's trying to take care of this and all I can do is give a little laugh. I may have to bring up to housecleaning tips every now and again or just let it pass and be thankful he is trying so hard!!

That's sweet Daphne. Maybe as your cooking you could have the silverware basket on the counter & put the dirty silverware in it. Then he may say something like "oh that's what that is for". Gotta be sneaky & teach him while he doesn't notice.

Good for him, he is trying.
Remember us women didn't learn overnight either.
I think Darlene's idea is a good one, gotta be sneaky so they don't get their feelings hurt.

How sweet. At least he is trying to help out.
I don't think I would say anything. He will learn or do as Darlene mentioned.~*Michelle*~
