    Default I am decluttering

Before we start up with school again, I hope to declutter a lot:

    * I sold some extra school books on the Sonlight Used Books forum.

    * I am going through craft supplies. I have decided that I will keep only 4 types of craft materials. The rest are getting donated to DD's scout troop.

I will keep knitting, sewing, cross stitch, and scrapbook materials. I am donating a table loom, candle-making supplies, 'junk' yarn, the rock tumbler, and any stuff related to other crafts.

This is a HUGE step for me. I see something crafty and think, 'oooh! I'd like to make those.'

    * I hope to also declutter
    ** the office/schoolroom
    ** my clothes
    ** more school materials

    * If all goes very, very well, I'll tackle the kitchen!

    Anyone else decluttering this summer?

I am decluttering too. You sound like you're definitely on the right track!

I have way too much craft stuff but I can't bear to part with any of it.

I've been decluttering with DH's help. We just had a yard sale on Friday and we were able to get rid of a lot of stuff. I surveyed what we had left over and was quite impressed with how much we were able to get rid of. Most of the leftover stuff, I will be donating.

i have to declutter every 3-4 months here at our house...just finished going through things inside of the house....now we'll have to go through the garage....dh has to make a few repairs anyway, so that would be a great time to do it....it doesn't take long for things to pile up there....i'm so glad that he'll be helping me with it as i consider that part his domain..........as for all of my craft stuff...its so hard to part w/ any of it....but when my rubbermaid barrel gets to overflowing, its time to size down !

DH and I have been working hard on our office this month. DH took out 5 full bags of trash last week! As soon as we get rid of the EBay pile and Stuff to return pile, we should be really good.

As a side note, I decluttered 10 bottles of nail polish that I haven't worn in over a year tonight. I only kept the shades that I love and actually wear!
