Talking scented soap, a frugal luxury!

I just ran out of soap and bought some new bars of lily of the valley scented soaps. I bought Crabtree&Evelyn brand, it was on a Super deal that I happened upon the other day. Knowing I was low on soap I stocked up on this luxury brand.

I broke a bar out this morning and revelled in the smell, the feel of a really nice bar of good soap in my favourite floral scent-- lily of the valley.

For something that you use several times a day as you wash your hands, it sure provides a lot of joy.

And if you take my sister's advice, she always uses heavy scented soaps because she can tell at a sniff which kids have used soap to wash hands after using the bathroom, and before meals.

Which is a remarkably good habit to instill in kids, it's the first line of defence against germs whether germ warfare style, or just garden variety flus and colds.

Scented soap, a sweet indulgence that is still frugal.

I just love a good bar of soap myself not only for all of your reasons, but it makes the bathroom smell good too. Such a small pleasure, to bring joy.

I'm a big fan of scented soaps and hand washes. Always have been. Just got back from vacation and my two indulgences were tea and a few tiny little bars of scented soap- I got some to match my upstairs bathrrom decor- brazil nut, milk, and pecan, I think the third scent was. Yum!
