You start with whatever your hand lays on first. Bring it to where you have room to sort. Make piles~ keep, give away, throw away and not sure. Go thru it a bag and a box at a time in an area large enough to work in. When done go thru the "not sure" pile and put in one of the other 3 piles. Find a place for the keepers, find a place for the givers(charity, family, friends), throw the junk away. It may seem overwhelming but little by little you will find a better place for all the stuff. You can do it Jennifer.

Getting sick of the clutter is the first step and the biggest motivator I think. I start with one room or a closet even and just jump in. You'd be amazed at what you don't need and what you've been hanging onto for far too long.!

Thanks. I'm not feeling as sick and tired of it all today as I was yesterday, but I am definitely going to get started on decluttering this house-just as soon as I get done reading FV, of course. lol
