    Default Company Coming...Time to Clean!

    Thank goodness my college roommate and her family are coming to stay with us for a few days this week. It will give me the motivation I need to clean this place up! I look around each day and see the mess, but I'm so tired when I get home from work, I just don't do it. Today, I'm on it! Phewf! Now, to just keep it clean for awhile!

    Actually, dh went around yesterday and hung up more pictures that we've had in the basement since we moved last August. We just haven't gotten around to it. The house looks considerably better since they've been hung.

    Alright, I'm off to get started. Anyone else cleaning or decluttering today?

    My dh is one of those people who clean when he's bored or mad. I'm getting to be that way too.. used to annoy the heck outta me, now I can see his point.. it really does relieve stress and makes you feel like you're accomplishing something. But the kids always ask when we clean..1. Is everything OK? 2. Who's coming over?

    I'm in- DH's mother, brother, and grandparents are coming up later this week to see DD. GPs are up from FL and had a car accident in VA on the way up, so that is why DH's mother and brother are coming- te GPs don't want to drive the 3.5 hours here. (Honestly, they have no business driving her from FL- they are like 85!)

    I used to clean when I was angry, but that was before DD. Now it doesn't matter if I am angry- I have her to deal with and keep busy, so I don't get to pout, which is really too bad- my house is suffering for it! LOL

    i have already gotten 6 bags of junk out this morning, going to go to walmart in awhile then maybe i will get more done. i am amazed at the junk i had stached in places.
