Another cleaning question
Do you clean along on your house all week or do you do a one day a week deep clean and then just pick up the rest of the time. When I was younger I did most of my cleaning on one day but now I don't have the energy for that. I clean something everyday....have a pretty good routine that helps me keep things under control for the most part but I don't always clean "every single, little thing". How about the other girls and guys here? What's your routine? (I know we've talked about this before but there are several new people here that I'd like to also get feedback from)

I pick up everyday and really clean when I can't stand it anymore.
A little dust protects my furniture from uv light damage (ya ya that's it) and gives me a place to doodle.

I have certain jobs around the house that I do on certain days. For example, today I vacuum, mop, and dust. I have certain things I do every day, such as dishes and laundry. Since I started doing this I have no problem with people just stopping by my house.

Everyday here. I have to vacuum everyday because I have dark carpeting and every little piece of dust, lint or anything shows on it. I also have to do at least a damp mopping of my kitchen each evening after the supper dishes are done because I live in the country and have white flooring in my kitchen area that we have to come though upon entering the house. (We use the back door exclusively because it enters through the utility room and not onto the carpeting).

I have a daily room to work on. I have a list I made from the flylady's principals....just suited to fit me better.
monday...bathrooms
tuesday...basement (laundry & family room)
wednesday....kitchen & mending
thursday.....landing & stairs, living room & bedrooms
friday....office room, bills & file, errands
saturday.... cars & garage & outside
Of course there's daily chores, too, and specific monthly jobs in each room on their respective days.
I do laundry daily & vac the main room one other time a week.

I clean every day.
I don't have a routine. When it's dirty, I clean it. When it's messy, I pick it up
Works for me lol.

OH! i love the daily list, hmmm going to have to really think about that. but we vaccum 2 times daily, once before the grandbabies get here and once after they leave, we do every dish as we use it, and laundry every day.

I split my house and do weekly cleaning on one end on Monday and the other end on Friday. I keep dirty clothes sorted in the hamper and do a load or two every day as needed. Wash and change bed linens on Thursday.
I don't have the energy to do it all in one day either. Nobody here picks up after themselves. Leaves it where it lands.

I'm not organized about it. I do a little every day. I wash at least one load of laundry and dishes daily. Though I'm not as good about actual cleaning as I should be, I keep everything picked up and put away. My ds1 and 2 put away their pjs and make their beds every morning and they help me with other cleaning chores too. I don't want to be cleaning up their rooms and their stuff when they're teenagers

I clean a little every day and try to keep the kitchen area cleaned up all the time, it's the first place people see when they come in. I try to do a load of laundry everyday, clothes, sheets, towels etc... so I don't have a huge amount to do on the weekends.

I'm on the FlyLady program, so I do a little bit every day. I really like it, though I often fall off the wagon. Summer really disorganized me, hopefully come fall I can get back into the swing of things.

I clean a bit every day and try to keep the kitchen and bathroom at least tidy and "wiped" every day. I run the vacuum in the kitchen multiple times a day. Ingrid is more than happy to clean up any food she dropped and just can't understand why I would clean it up so quickly!

We have a small house so it's not too tough but I really don't enjoy cleaning! I also try to declutter something for 30 minutes - 1 hour every day, especially in our basement. I'm noticing real progress!

I vacume everyday, pick up, wipe down my bathroom, and try to clean at least 1 room throughly. Ridged schedules don't work here, I like to put people first and some days there just seem to be a lot of people here.
