    Default Decluttering Day #2

Okay, so we were all busy yesterday, but what will we do today? Remember...it doesn't have to be an entire room or closet or anything like that. Even just tossing one item works for me! I'll be doing mine in a bit when Patrick naps.

How about you? Whatcha gettin' rid of?

You know what is really sad? So much of my decluttering is just garbage!! I don't know why I hang on to that kind of thing. Just paper clutter, old stuff no one would want, etc. Last week my garbage was huge! The big can that the truck picks up to empty was packed, and another can besides. Also, three cans from sticks, weeds, etc. from yard.
Well, today, I'm tackling my desk for paper clutter, and just stuff to put away. Also starting to work on the bookshelves in the office. Wish me luck!

I decluttered my bedroom. I had just planned on tossing some plastic wrap from some new (well, old, but never opened before) sheets I opened the other day and then I kinda went a little nutty. I filled up a grocery bag with trash, got all of the clothes either put away or in the laundry, and you can now actually SIT in the reading chair we have in there. DH won't know what hit him when he gets home!

favesis...If I could get rid of some stained shirts around here, I'd consider it a major accomplishment, so pat yourself on the back! Something is better than nothing, right?!?!

My fil is helping us declutter tonight (dump run in his truck). I'm getting rid of an exersaucer (baby toy thingie, pretty good size), a ride on baby toy, a 2' tall Winnie the Pooh Christmas motorized decoration, a huge roll of carpeting that was leftover when first installed in our house (before we owned it), a baby doll "center" that my kids don't play with any more, baby carseat, toddler car seat, hot cocoa maker, popcorn maker, and mini crock pot

I try not to beat myself up over whether my declutter is small or big! Just think of it as forward progress. Just be proud of that!

It feels so good to get it out of here. It was in the attic, so it wasn't cluttering up daily living, except for making room in the attic for some of the stuff in the basement which we will be remodeling soon

I need to get on board here. I'm getting cluttery again. Today, I went through the recent mail and either shredded, filed, or tossed everything. Tomorrow's goal: get this computer desk tidied up!

Michelle, I have to ask: what in the world is a hot cocoa maker? My hot cocoa maker is the microwave and a spoon.
