I miss everything on tv. We tivo and watch like one show non stop for what feels like forever and lately have only been watching IFC. lol
I'm so sheltered when it comes to tv. I've got to be the only person that doesn't watch reality shows either.
I like tons of shows, but we only watch tv late night and have negotiated what we both would enjoy. lolIf you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Makes me feel like my house is spotless clean considering, I can't really even vaccuum(my cordintation still is "off"). But golly, some of those are not "too" bad most though are "'sickening", and this is comming from someone who "can't" do all around the house myself.
My parents though, it horrible, not as bad as what those where but, with 5 adults and one child, they let one of my sisters clean it and everyone just piles stuff all over, and in the sink and uncovered/opened in the fridge(trust me yuck
), thank heavens me wanting to live "clean" has come back
I guess I have been very sheltered(same with our kids at least at home and school). I don't understand the way people are anymore, guess I am really becomming a hermit.
The reality shows are out there, personally we think they are stupid and rediculious(cgoing on national tv to portry your "life" is nuts in my book).
Hey thanks for the link to the pictures, I will have to sedn that to my mom and maybe she will take the hint(has not yet)

I haven't seen the show either. My house is much cleaner than those, lol, but bet you could write your name on my diningroom buffet table. It's a light layer and seen when the light hits it just right.

I'd never heard of this show before. I don't think we get it. Looking at the pictures though it makes me wonder, what's gone on with these people that they don't take care of themselves. Do they have depression? mental health problems? have they simply given up? It's not natural for any animal to want to live in a mess. The only time animals have foul nests is when something is wrong.
It makes me kind of sad - and nauseated.....
My place isn't tidy but it's reasonably clean. Nothing moulding, nothing evolving, nothing you can hurt yourself on....

I've seen it! Yuck! There is a big difference between being messy and being dirty. I consider myself to be messy (working on it though), but would be offended in college when people would call my room "dirty". I am guilty of extra papers on the desk, magazines &coupons on the coffee table, unmade bed, etc But I do not have dirty dishes, black bowled toliets, rotten food, etc. What is espcially telling about this show is when they come back I guess it's in 2 weeks. Many times people are right back to their old ways.

I've seen promo's but not the show. I knew a woman who lived in a trailer ... she had 2 to 3 ft of dirty laundry down her hall way. You could not see an inch of counter or table top. The smell was horrendously nausiating.
She wasn't a very happy lady.

I haven't seen the show, no cable. I read a book by some women off a BBC show like this (this show?). It was pretty interesting. My house is not clinically clean but it is not "dirty".
